H.Z. Logistics prepared for expansion of the British portfolio

With the acquisition of the BRC certificate, H.Z. Logistics has proven it meets the requirements of the BRC Global Standard Storage & Distribution. This standard in the area of food safety has been developed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), the British branch organization of retailers. This performance confirms that all processes at H.Z. Logistics in the field of warehousing, cross-docking and transport are in accordance with the BCR standards.

The certificate serves as a replacement of the HACCP certification and is an important requirement for conditioned transport, especially in Great Britain. It shows that all processes at H.Z. Logistics are monitored and followed up according to strict BRC requirements. These requirements outweigh the HACCP requirements and are additional in the area of food safety, business processes and organizational structures. H.Z. Logistics is always looking for ways to improve its services. Obtaining the BRC certificate is part of H.Z. Logistics’ goal to remain leading and progressive within the logistics sector.

Customers will not notice anything different after the obtainment of the certification: the working methods of the company do not need to be adjusted. H.Z. Logistics therefore sees the certificate as a confirmation of compliance with the company mission: guaranteeing the products of customers and meeting the requirements of different clients. However, by obtaining the certificate, H.Z. Logistics can now serve new customers who have defined the BRC standards as their standard. A perfect addition: since H.Z. Logistics’ establishment in Great Britain in 2015, the number of customers there has been growing strongly, and British retailers in particular value the BRC standards.
